| Welcome to my Food Plotting page! For a very long time I have wanted to put together this new food plot section here on my web site. But every time I got started, something always got in the way---mainly hunting. Each year I receive hundreds upon hundreds of phone calls pertaining to food plots and although many are repetitious, all are important to me and hopefully this section will allow visitors to come on here and have their question(s) answered. One of the challenges with receiving that amount of calls is having a cell phone signal while in the field. Once food plot planting season kicks in, many of our planting jobs are in the boon--docks and I can't accept calls due to lack of cell signal. During prime planting season we often work daylight till dark, leaving little time to conduct business on the phone in the evenings. Therefore, I will continue to add to the pages and update with pictures as I can. Ultimately, the best way to make contact with me is via email. They are shot right to my cell phone and computer. It is now almost mid February and if my memory serves me correctly, last year we were flipping ground with bottom plows on February 25. Granted, last winter was much milder than this year but 58 degrees today and 57 degrees tomorrow has me thinking this could be a repeat? Working ground and planting food plots is a huge part of my life. Over the years I have discovered that the best education you can get is by simply doing it. Gather all the common sense advise you can get and then go do it!! You will make mistakes but it is important you learn from them. I hope you find these new pages informative.
